A Starbucks inside Dierbergs’ West Oak store, Olive and Craig Roads, in Creve Coeur opened Thursday for customers to sip and snack while they shop.

This is the fourth Starbucks inside a Dierbergs, a 25 store supermarket chain operating in the St. Louis-metropolitan area. The company previously opened three Starbucks at its Des Peres, Brentwood Pointe and Manchester locations.

“We’re very excited about our newest Starbucks opening in Creve Coeur,” said Dierbergs Markets CEO, Greg Dierberg. “We’re happy to partner with the Starbucks brand as we work to further improve our customers’ shopping experience.”

Starbucks’ story began in 1971 and has since grown to serve millions of customers each day through exceptional products and 22,000 retail stores in 67 countries. With a strong belief in serving the best coffee possible, Starbucks coffee is grown under the highest standards of quality. Their mission is to inspire and nurture the human spirit – one person, one cup and one neighborhood at a time.

Dierbergs Markets traces its roots to a country store founded in 1854 in West St. Louis County. Four generations have managed the company, which had only one location until 1967. Today, Dierbergs employs 4,100 Associates in 24 St. Louis metropolitan-area stores and a location at Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks.
