Fresh Peach Margaritas


½ cup water
½ cup Dierbergs sugar

1½ cups sliced fresh peaches
¼ cup fresh lime juice
¼ cup fresh orange juice
¼ cup tequila
¼ cup peach schnapps
2 tablespoons Simple Syrup
3 cups crushed ice


FOR  SIMPLE SYRUP  In small saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium-high heat; cook stirring constantly until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer without stirring 1 minute. Remove from heat; cool to room temperature. Store in airtight container in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.

FOR MARGARITAS  Place all ingredients in blender container; blend until smooth. If desired, dip rims of glasses in water, then into coarse salt. Pour margaritas into glasses. Serve immediately.
