St. Louis, July 30, 2021 - Following a recall by Greater Omaha, Dierbergs Markets is pulling all products made of 86/14 Ground Round and 93/7 Ground Beef from its meat departments.

This includes the 2lb Dierbergs Keep Fresh Ground Chuck (UPC 7-42158-22506) and 2lb Keep Fresh 93/7 Lean Ground Beef UPC (7-42158-22502) packages, as well as all Dierbergs service case and fresh beef grinds, including tray packs, sliders, pub burgers and beef patties made with the 86/14 and 93/7 found in both the department full-service and self-service cases.

This recall has been initiated due to the possible contamination of the meat with E. coli O157:H7. More information on this recall can be found on the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service website.

Dierbergs customers who purchased any 86/14 Ground Round and 93/7 Ground Beef products between July 14 - July 30 are urged to avoid consumption of this product, dispose of any unused portions and bring their receipt to their local Dierbergs to receive a full refund.
