St. Louis, April 6, 2022 - Dierbergs Markets is voluntarily recalling all packages of 80/20 ground chuck, 85/15 ground round, 90/10 ground sirloin and 93/7 ground beef purchased between noon on Tuesday, April 5 and before 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday April 6, at its Deer Creek store (Hwy K & N).

The recall is in response to pieces of the soaker pad discovered in the grinder. The recall is voluntary and based on an abundance of caution. No reports have been made of soaker pad being found ground together with the beef in any purchased packages.

The recall only applies to product sold on the black trays or the full service case at the Deer Creek Dierbergs location. Keep Fresh products are not a part of this recall.

All impacted product has been pulled from the store’s shelves and removed from the service case and discarded.

Dierbergs asks customers who purchased any of the product listed above, during those times, from the Deer Creek store are invited to bring their receipt to the store for a full refund.
