St. Louis, April 22, 2024 - In response to a voluntary recall by Infinite Herbs, LLC, Dierbergs Markets has ensured that the following product is no longer on its shelves due to the possible contamination with Salmonella.

While the product in question was sold in stores between February 10 - 20, 2024, and only has a shelf-life of seven days, consumers are urged to check refrigerators and freezers. This product should not be consumed and should instead be returned to Dierbergs for a full refund.

Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience symptoms and illness but usually recover. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses.
