St. Louis, October 14, 2024 - In response to a voluntary product recall, Dierbergs Markets has removed the following Rao's product due to the possibility of contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

This recall is a result of a supplier's own recall of poultry products due to the possible contamination. Listeria monocytogenes is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. To date, however, there have been no reported illnesses associated with this recall.

Customers who have purchased this recalled product from Dierbergs are urged not to consume it and instead return it for a full refund.
