Ingredients

  • 2 oz Tequila (Chef’s Choice: Lunazul Blanco)
  • ½ oz Aperol
  • ½ oz Agave or Simple Syrup 1:1
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • Optional Mix-Ins: Halved Strawberries, chopped fennel + rhubarb, cilantro, sliced serrano or jalapeno
  • Salt for rim (Optional)
  • Ice
  • Garnish: Lime wheel, ribbon of rhubarb, or a whole strawberry

Directions

Prep your (old fashioned) glass with salt, if you choose, ice, and reserve your garnish.

 

In a cocktail shaker, add your spring mix-ins, like strawberries and cilantro, and muddle. Top with tequila, Aperol, agave syrup, lime juice, and ice. Seal your shaker and shake hard, about 20 times. Taste for balance.

 

Strain down into your prepared cocktail glass. Garnish + Enjoy it!
